Our Australian wines -Umamu from Margaret River and Sirromet from the Granite Belt -  have recently been reviewed on the highly regarded wine website JancisRobinson.com.

We had a great day out at the Brackley Wine Festival on 5 May despite some pretty unseasonable weather which might have deterred some people from going.

Although this incident happened a while ago here's a little light relief at someone elses expense.

“A pint of best and a large glass of Pinot for the wife” are words often uttered at my local, and I’m sure at countless other pubs up and down the country.  Several years ago “Pinot” to me would have meant Pinot Noir, the noble grape of Burgundy.
