Certified organic (ecocert) in 2000, this is an estate that produces outstanding wines without compromise. Chateau Lamblin lies in the area of Bourg sur Gironde, in the heart of the vineyards of the Cotes de Bourg appellation. The area enjoys a very particular micro-climate and geographical situation, due to the influence of the Bec d'Ambes in the estuary. The soils are a combination of clay over limestone and silt over gravel. The vineyard boasts all the natural characteristics that are ideal for vines to flourish. |

 Domaine Damien Lorieux |
Located in the Commune of Bourgueil, the family estate has been passed down over three generations. Damien Lucien Lorieux runs the eleven hectare estate and combines modern viticultural technology whilst holding the upmost respect for tradition. Two soil types make up the vineyards; terrace gravel and calcerous clay. The vine is exclusively Cabernet Franc. Being environmentally aware, they practice sustainable viticulture. The vineyard is no longer sprayed and foliage is encouraged and nurtured between the vines to act as natural weed control. In addition to the ecological benefits, the sustainable techniques offer advantages in the resulting quality of the wines: falling yields, higher natural alcohol content and reduced rot. Since January 2005, Damien Lorieux, took over the estate from his father, Lucien, following his studies in wine at Bordeaux University and his experience of winemaking in Australia and California. |

The new ten hectare Domaine de la Graveirette Sarrians lies between Orange and Carpentras in Provence and only started producing wine in 2005. The main purpose of the estate is to express the best the region can offer in terms of diversity of flavour and variety of grape varieties associated with it; grenache, syrah, mourvedre alongside merlot, cabernet sauvignon and marselan. Traditional methods are respected alongside cutting edge technology in the winery. |

 Domaine Didier Raimbaut |
Roger et Didier Raimbault's domaine is situated in the Verdigny district, right in the heart of the Sancerre wine producing area. Their family has been tending vines here for ten generations. The seventeen hectares of vineyards are situated on the steep slopes of Verdigny and Sury en Vaux. The 200 to 400 metre hills are at an incline of up to 40% and provide the necessary environmental factors to give authenticity and complexity to their wines. The wines are a true reflection of the vine which is cultivated with great care. The soil is treated to avoid herbicide use and foliage is encouraged to fight against erosion on the steep slopes. The vines are treated only in response to the presence or propensity of disease. |
 Domaine du Rin du Bois |
Run and owned by Pascal Jousselin, the nineteen hectare estate is located in one of the highest points and noted for being situated amongst the most highly favourable soils of the department. The soils are a tapestry of clay and flint and sand on clay, the perfect soils for Sauvignon Blanc. The slopes offer excellent drainage. Over recent years the estate has implemented sustainable viticulture combined with a minimalist approach in the vineyard. The use of pesticides has been reduced with the reintroduction of foliage between the vines tht has encouraged the return of lady birds, the perfect predator for insect pests in the vineyard. |

Located in Dambach, a pretty little village of two thousand inhabitants forty kilometres south of Strasbourg. The family started selling and bottling wine after the Second World War. Dominica and Nathalie for ten hectares of vineyards situated in parcels across four sites: Dambach-la-Ville, Scherwiller, Chatenois and Albe. In 1997 they started organic farming and have since progressed to bio-dynamic viticulture. The vines are deep rooted in granite and sand drawing moisture through the rock. The resulting wines are incredibly fine and complex. |

The twenty hectare Faust estate was purchased by three enthusiastic oenologists who had trained and worked at one of Slovenia's largest cooperatives prior to joining the European Union. Valpolicella, Italy This small family estate based in the best sites 300m above lake Garda has been bottling their wine since 2003. Featured in Decanter April 2007 as one of the new faces of Valpolicella thay are also starting to get noticed with their Amarone receiving a Gran Menzzione at Vinitaly. They are forward thinking and not afraid to experiment also producing a dry white wine from one of their Passito vineyards, Le Preare. They have two single vineyards dedicated to Amarone, Le Campedel that uses Guyot training and Le Quare that uses more traditional methods; both exceptional wines. |

A small family estate of six hectares in the Commune of Vinezac in the South of the Ardeche. The vines inhabit calcareous clay stony hillsides along the scrubland and olive groves. The whole area has been replanted since 1980 with the noble grape varieties, Syrah and Grenache for the AOC Cotes du Vivarais red and pink, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon for VDP Red and Chardonnay for the VDP Blanc. The estate practices sustainable viticulture. |
