Details:

Medium garnet core with a light brick rim. Lovely aromas of strawberries and red cherries with some earthy mushroom notes and hints of summer hedgerow flowers.

Dry with medium acidity and soft ripe silky tannins with flavours mainly of strawberries and a lingering finish. A classy wine with good fruit, well balanced acidity and tannins and some complexity.

Pairs best with red meats but also smooth pates, pork or braised veal and strong cheeses such as Epoisses.
