Details:

Medium ruby colour with lovely aromas of plums, damsons, chocolate, sweet spices and vanilla.

It has good acidity balanced by soft ripe tannins with juicy fruit flavours of plums and black cherries. Malolactic fermentation in  the barrell has given the wine a mocha richness and good integration of oak tannin, while an extended 24 months’ ageing in barrel has imparted a smoky complexity and a long mellow finish.The blend is 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon

This is a well made wine with some complexity and will go well with meaty dishes such as roast lamb or beef.
